Move your brush gently, in a circular motion, over the tongue to remove the plague. This plague, if left unremoved, can harden and cause calculus and then gingivitis. So, make sure to brush everywhere in your mouth, including the tongue.

At the end of the day, all the sugars in the mouth get converted into acid which can cause erosion of the tooth enamel.  These acids are the reason behind the development of cavities. Acidic teas, coffee, and fruits can also wear this tooth enamel down. While there is no need to cut down on eating such foods altogether, it’s always a better option to be cautious.
